Glasgow-born and bred, Beth graduated with a BSc hons in Physiology & Sports Science in 2009 before completing a Masters in Biomedical Science in 2010 at the University of Glasgow. Beth specialised in sports injuries and the physiological effects and benefits of exercise. Working with some of the best in the industry, Beth had the opportunity of working with professional and international rugby players on her Masters degree, narrowly missing out on a PhD programme with the Welsh Rugby Union.
Beth completed two Diplomas from the accredited Western School in 2011 and 2012. A member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation (SMTO), she is fully qualified in Swedish, Remedial & Sports Massage, incorporating Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial release, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Techniques, Mobilisations and PNF Stretching.
Since September 2011, Beth has been working as a Freelance Therapist and in June 2012 began working in association with MiFitness, working out of the Glasgow Hawks Rugby Club Gym in Hyndland. She now finds herself in her dream job of working as part of the Achilles Heel team.
Friendly and outgoing, Beth has always enjoyed her time outdoors and always looks forward to ski trips to Europe and America with her dad. A dedicated hockey player, since the age of 9, Beth is a member of the GHK 1st XI field hockey team at Anniesland and dedicates her spare time to coaching and umpiring at her club and the Kelvinside Academy.
